Pilanesberg Day Safari

The Pilanesberg Park nestles on the remains of an inactive volcano. It is one of the biggest complexes of its kind and the rare rock types and structure make it a unique geological feature.

It comprises 55 000 ha of land and is a well-managed, eco-friendly sanctuary giving a variety of natural and man-made habitats to the multitude of life. It is home to about 11 000 animals. In addition to the Big 5, it has numerous other mammals, birds and vegetation.

This is a prime destination for the visitor who doesn’t have sufficient time to explore the South African bush with the added advantage of being Malaria free.

It is close to Gauteng (a 2 1/2 hour drive) and can be completed in a day.

The tour includes a curio shopping experience at the Chameleon Village, a lunch at a private lodge, and an open-vehicle-game-drive, conducted at sunset by a professional game ranger.
